The 2010 Annual Decagon Awards ceremony, celebrating the best and brightest creative minds in Central Illinois, is coming to Decatur this May.

The event will take place Friday, May 14, 2010 at the Beach House in Decatur (In Nelson Park on Lake Decatur — 2301 East Lakeshore Dr., Decatur, IL).  Appetizers will be served, and the cash bar will be open at 6 p.m.  Awards will be presented at 7 p.m.

Eligibility requirements for the Decagon Awards are simple: Entries must be marketing communications materials (print, signage, internet, radio, etc.) printed, published, erected or aired for the first time between Jan. 1, 2009 and Dec. 31, 2009.  The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 9, 2010 at 5:30 p.m.  Entry fees are $50 per submission for Non-Members of the Decatur Ad Club ($35 for Members).  For every 9 submissions, the 10^th one is free.
