Lucky for us, they’re going to be on sale at the Boneyard Arts Festival this weekend. Proceed and Be Bold! is the title of a documentary on Kennedy that we plan on screening here in the fall, along with a letterpress workshop with Kennedy himself. So check out his work this weekend, and stay tuned for more news.

Posters will be for sale in the library room of the IMC building in Urbana, from 12pm-5pm on Saturday, April 18th.

About a week ago we received an email from director Justine Nagan of Kartemquin Films. Justine, who recently directed the documentary ‘Typeface‘ has kindly agreed to screen the movie here in the fall. The film focuses on a rural Midwestern museum and print shop where international artists meet retired craftsmen and together navigate the convergence of modern design and traditional technique. Our friend Chad Kouri, of Chicago design collective The Post Family, was featured in the film and will be coming down to speak at the screening as well. How cool!
